Jacqueline Paras

Jacqueline Paras joined team JAMaROO in 2007 as a JAMaROO Kids dance, music, and storytelling instructor. In addition she will be a curriculum development specialists.

Jacqueline has a wealth of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. From 1995-1999, she was the youth director at the Metronome Ballroom where she was involved in preschool outreach programs. It was that experience that made her realize that she wanted to be with children everyday and lead her to earning a Montessori teaching credential from The Maria Montessori Teaching Center in 2002. Later, she completed a Master's in Early Childhood Education from San Fransisco State University.

As a teacher she has been inspired by the Reggio-Emilia approach, creating dance projects and writing documentations on children and dance. She has also enjoyed learning songs from around the world and sharing them with her students.
