Bio - Sarah Meike
Sarah has always been passionate about teaching kids, watching them grow, and helping them learn. She learned from the example of her amazing mother, who taught Kindergarten most of her life. Before Sarah was even old enough to be in Kindergarten, she was helping her mom in the classroom. Over the years she developed her natural ability with kids. She also loved dancing and pursued tap, jazz, ballet, and lyrical with her studio, high school dance team, and competitively.
In 2010 Sarah began attending San Francisco State University (SFSU) on a presidential scholarship. In her spare time she worked and volunteered as a nanny, tutor, and teacher with kids ranging from 1 to 13. Sarah has always been a crafty soul and started an arts and crafts nanny blog.
When she graduated SFSU in 2014, Sarah continued learning by attending the Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training at the base of the Himalayas in India. She continued her travels through Thailand and Myanmar.
Sarah began teaching for JAMaROO when she returned from her trip and continues to pursue her career in the non- profit sector and teaching yoga for adults at the Sivananda center.
